Man At War Zone

Obliterating everything, tearing us apart, Slaughter of the finest at the devil's command,

Fooling us into blind hate, rancor and vitriol,

Instead of loving all humans with open arms,

For silence is all we will ever need,

Language of the universe, and intelligence of the heart.

Shredding strength and exposing vulnerability, Tearing man apart, from inside out,

Striking hard and fast where we are the most secure,

Blinding us from the flaws in our thinking,

Been the choreographed dance of destruction for so long,

Tearing us where we needed to heal, deceiving us all along.

Be brothers in arms, not brothers in 'arms',

Replace 'Love of power' by 'power of love',

See each other as who they truly are,

Remove the blindfolds from upon your hearts,

Man at war zone is on the spiral stairway to hell,

To heal ourselves, we need peace and love as well.
